Our calling as Christians is to encounter God through the power of the holy spirit and allow his visible presence to transform our lives. By allowing the holy spirit to move in our lives we build a testimony that others see and are drawn to.  That’s evangelism. Encountering him and being transformed.

In Luke 19 we see an encounter with Jesus bring about repentance and reconciliation. In Matthew 26 we read an encounter with Jesus develop intimacy and spring forth ministry naturally.We must learn to leave room for God to move in our lives to build and confirm our faith. His word creates the path we walk to change and transform our community. Christianity is not intended to be lived without the transforming power of the holy spirit encounter.
